Adv. Sofia Liel Bayevsky works in immigration law.
As part of her work, Sophia provides consultation to the firm’s clients in various legal proceedings, including: the process of arranging the status of foreign spouses of Israeli citizens; family reunification proceedings; representation of asylum seekers from the initial stage of application filing for political asylum (including application procedures under the Law of Return), to representation in the various interviews conducted by the registration unit (the infiltrators unit) and the RSD unit in the Ministry of the Interior, and up to filing applications for re-examination of rejected applications; and applications on humanitarian grounds.
Sophia has experience in representing the firm’s clients both vis-à-vis the various units of the State authorities in different proceedings and applications, and in representation before the Administrative Courts, if necessary.
Sophia completed her internship and worked as a lawyer at Noam Koris Law Offices and Mediation, and in 2015 she joined the firm.
