Adv. & Notary Guy David is a founding partner in David-Sol law firm, and leads the administrative aspect of the firm’s immigration department.

Guy holds extensive experience and knowledge in one of the most complex and high profile fields in Israel today, immigration law. Among his colleagues, he is known as one of the only attorneys who deal with specific niches in immigration, including:

• The status in Israel of refugees and asylum seekers
• Obtaining citizenship in Israel by virtue of the Law of Return
• The status of spouses (married or common-law spouses)
• Family reunifications
• Submitting applications on humanitarian grounds
• Granting employment permits to specialist workers
• Release from detention and incarceration facilities

In addition, Guy specializes in administrative petitions and petitions before various courts, including immigration and protection of minority rights by virtue of international conventions.

Guy has extensive experience in various proceedings vis-a-vis the Ministry of the Interior in particular, and the State authorities in general. Through his work he was able to shape rulings and case-law precedents in the Supreme Court and influenced legislative processes in the State of Israel.

In addition to his work concerning immigration law, Guy provides legal advice to private clients and citizens of Israel. He also consults to asylum seekers and refugees in matters of civil law, with specifically real-estate and commercial law – including supporting the firm’s clients in commercial transactions and apartment sales and lease transactions.

Guy interned in the State Attorney’s Office (Tel Aviv District), dealing with criminal law and established David-Sol in 2009.

Guy served as a representative of the Israel Bar Association Ethics Committee in disciplinary proceedings.
